The Level System
LEVEL 1: Student displays one or more of the following
: Unable to follow class rules
: Disrespectful to teachers/peers
: Refuses to complete assignments
: Refuses to take responsibility for behavior
: Disrespectful to school property
: Wanders
: Verbally or Physically Aggressive
Students may advance to level 2 after successfully maintaining behavior at level 1 for 2 days
LEVEL 2: Student displays all of the following
: Follows rules
: Follows directions
: Participates appropriately
: Stays on task
: Completes all assignments
: Exhibits verbal control
: Uses appropriate speech
: Exhibits physical control
: Accepts consequences for misbehavior
: Accepts help
: Positive adult interactions
Students may advance to Level 3 after successfully maintaining behavior at a level 2 for 3 days
LEVEL 3: Student displays all of the following
: Continues behavior from level 2
: Respects and responds appropriately to authority
: Behaves responsible in social situations
: Is in control of his/her behavior
: Asks for a break when frustrated
: Avoids becoming part of peers problems
: Works well with others
: Accepts directions and requests
: Is able to ask for help
: Shows positive leadership
: Is able to handle large group activities without assistance
